Re: Bangladesh 58 all out
I'm 100% American...born in the city where our Revolution against King George of England began (Boston). My parents are Bangladeshi. I knew nothing about cricket till I was 14 years old and visited Dhaka, where everyone and their grandmother was jumping up and down about our win vs Kenya at the Worl...

Re: Bangladesh 58 all out
Bangladesh's recent Test record is not all that bad. They've batted better than Pakistan in England and when looking at the last 10 games, have fewer innings defeats than teams like India and South Africa. I don't think a one off performance of 58 all out should be used as a litmus test.

Re: [Match Thread] New Zealand vs Zimbabwe
hey, ZIM have passed 150 which at 46-5 didn't look possible...utseya playing a gem of a knock here - he's really been batting well enough to be called an all rounder. coventry is worthless, and taibu just doesn't seem to score runs consistently enough. if you guys get to 200, and if the wicket slow,...

Re: [Match Thread] New Zealand vs Zimbabwe
this is actually a play in game for the QF round. its gonna be a cracker of a contest. i'm prolly gonna watch this while i wait for Bangladesh to send West Indies packing. don't let anything fool you, some of the best games in sports are the uglier contests. this is a game in which both sides have g...

Re: Openers failing
it now appears as though Masakadza would have been a better choice, but he did himself no favors but looking quite clueless in the several matches leading up to the Cup. Coventry reminds me exactly of our Mohammad Ashraful: batsman who for whatever reason can't capitalize on the few sterling innings...

Re: Ireland beat England!
Ireland really should be given put on a roadmap to gaining full membership and should certainly be a full ODI member meaning that they can't be excluded from World Cups. Ireland are clearly stronger than Zimbabwe and are probably level with Bangladesh. They should be rewarded for their success. agr...

Re: ZC announces busy international calendar
this looks good. exciting stuff as its almost like a brand new test nation is coming in. winning tests at this point is perhaps a bit ambitious, but if ZIM can push teams to a 5th day, and maybe even draw a test...they will earn credibility. ZIM should play their main team against AUS A, and look to...

Re: price and utseya best death bowlers in world
it helps when you play most of your games against bangladesh (the most inenept death-batting team out there) and minnows like ireland, kenya, etc. overall, i think zimbabwe have the 2nd best spin attack in the world at the moment behind bangladesh's. of course only a handful of teams employ multiple...
