Re: Improving the domestic system
A lot of good ideas on here, I agree with bits of suggestions from various posters. Having some countie chaps, perhaps some top associate players in our league is the easiest and fastest way to improve its quality. Maybe cap it at 3 international players per team…also a mandatory quota system I.e 2 ...

Re: Zimbabwe vs scotland under 19s First plate match
ZimCricket, by ZimCricket I mean Dave Houghton, must do everything possible to retain at least half of this team. Obviously cricket talent runs in families, so the Bennet brothers, the Welch brothers (where’s the older Welch these days?), that’s already 1/3 of a competitive team in 5 or so years ti...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI

I think the on has already started a page for that game, I will def be tuning in for most of the match. Hopefully the Bennet brothers and co...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI
A couple of days back, I did try salvaging the match thread which we won from a doom and gloom marathon to no avail. So, there's no point. 3. There has always been elements of it. There is a difference between a small subset of people going off topic and a majority of the forum activity becoming wh...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI
It’s funny how a couple of the people who complain about certain posts or posters, can usually only ever be found contributing to those ‘off topic’ discussions or arguments, and are very rarely seen contributing to anything actually relating to cricket. To say the ‘majority’ of stuff on here is rac...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI
We criticise the hell out of most Zim players, we rightfully criticise our ZC board, politicians etc ALL THE TIME. Yet when we turn our critique to age-cheating..during a youth World Cup, it’s “whoa whoa whoa, that’s radical”. Y’all need to learn the difference between criticisms and insults

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI
Yeah, don’t call out matchfixing and the mere coincidence that it’s rich Indian cartels at the centre of it. Don’t complain about blatant age cheating. Don’t criticise a well-paid absentee India-based Zimbabwe coach because it casts aspersion on 1.3 billion Indians Let’s all pretend everything is ok...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI
With all these match fixing syndicates ALL coming out of India, is it really wise for us to continue with a coach from there?? I mean, the dude is in India more than 11 months a year yet he’s supposed to be the Zim coach. Not to cast aspersions, but how does someone who spends all his time in the h...
