Bangladesh tests moving to 2025 is a bit disappointing but not a disaster as Bangladesh generally keep their commitments and we can be very hopeful of those games happening.
So March, May, July, August, we've got fixtures, fair enough. What we need now is for some good results!

Re: Hamilton Masakadza steps down
Do we know who all have applied for Head Coach position so far?
I get a feeling that there may not be many high profile coaches that might be interested to be employed under ZC.

Fair enough SZ!secretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 6:42 pmYa I do, respectfully, strongly disagree Sam.
'Gatekeeping', 'Status', etc - it's all dated imperialist bollocks. No other global-level sport has such pointless concepts as 'status'.

Re: Would Baz-Ball work in India?
I missed majority of this series after the first test, India miles ahead of everyone at home and I'm very impressed with the way young Indian players have performed in this series. It shows the kind of depth Indian cricket has, and thr kind of talent coming through. It is astonishing to think that a...

Re: Sri Lanka in Bangladesh 2024
Finally after a long time I spent some time watching the match today, I thought Bangladesh lost their way in the middle overs and that probably cost them 20 runs which could have been the difference. Very good knock though from Hridoy. Having said that Nissanka and Asalanka played really well and th...

Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc
I may be in the minority here but I would rather agree with Kriterion. I find it hard to understand T20I status given to the likes of Vietnam or Madagascar just because they can assemble a team to play cricket. There has to be some gatekeeping in terms of quality. We can all agree to disagree but th...

Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc
I understand, but what I mean is if Namibia and/or Uganda field full strength sides and Zimbabwe end up losing to them it will really hurt, will impact Zimbabwe's ranking and will create further headlines in international cricket as these are international games. On the other hand if Zimbabwe do man...

The Africa Men's games are proper T20 internationals. Which means we will see a lot of international debutants for Zim and esp RSA.
Also gives more meaning to the Women team that has won Gold.
Lot's to play for then, and I would have liked a stronger men's team.
