Re: Williams article on the BBC
Ideally I would not bank on the big 3 going on until 2027. I don't think ZC should think that way either. If they maintain fitness and form then all well and good and I'm all for it in an ideal scenario, but the need to have more younger players involved is now... And you cannot involve more younger...

Re: Williams article on the BBC
It's great if they all stick around, a lot depends on their fitness levels. Remember Sachin played until 40, Misbah played until 41, Imran Khan lead Pakistan to a WC win at 40, So there is a lot of inspiration to take. But I'm not looking that far as of now, before the WC 2027, we've got two T20 WCs...

Which Zim players do you think have been decent so far? Marumani the obvious pick. I think Wellington has done OK too. The fast bowlers are getting smacked everywhere but Evans did get a Man of The Match. Still nothing from Cephas and Maruma  Blessing has been lowkey again Mavuta has been good.

Re: Interview with Brendan Taylor
It was really open. Looks like he is doing OK. Addiction is a real thing and I'm happy he is doing well Interesting that they spoke on the recent failure and even how Raza got out. I love the honesty. They key point there was the law of averages. Losing Gary Ballance was a knockout blow in the end....

Good to see Marumani scoring some runs here. I think Shumba is another one we should not forget about. He had a steep decline but can bounce back Milton.

Re: The curious case of Nick Welch
Nick is coming back. Curran is having a difficult club and minor county season in the U.K. again at the moment, it’s hard to see how he sustains a career for himself at this point. Maybe one last roll of the dice here this season. Bennett will definitely be playing domestic again. Welch Jr, who kno...

Re: The curious case of Nick Welch
I always got confused between Nick and Matt but I guess now I'm clear that Nick is the UK guy and Matt is the U19 one. Are Matt and Bennett going to be playing the domestics this season? Nick is probably the best option to lure back into the Zimbabwean set up, will surely help if he agrees. I don't ...

Re: Zim Afro T10 | 20th-28th July 2023
All three Player of the Matches today were Zimbabwean. Chakabva/Marumani/Evans. Evans is a real mystrey. Looks like he has all the attributes to be a really good bowling allrounder but he nearly always gets smashed and rarely scores any runs. Doesn't help when they play him one game ans drop him th...

Re: Zim Afro T10 | 20th-28th July 2023
This format is seriously crap, however, I certainly won't complain on the quality of players. Ashton Turner, Beau Webster, Ben McDermott, Hatzoglou all had a fantastic BBL last season. Tymal Mills, Taskin Ahmed are class bowlers, Gurbaz, Tom Curran, Donovan Ferraira, Karim Janat, Cottrell are just a...
