Re: Muzarabani selected to psl
I reckon Blessing is good enough to be picked by a smaller franchise as a squad player/ back up bowler. The crème is usually clean ncenrrated at Rajastan Royals, Mumbai Indians…smaller franchises are teeming with the Indian equivalence of the Marumas and Mutombodzis

Kaitano is in top form, sold opening batsman. Nyauchi deserves a shot in all formats, he’s current form is sensational, we need to drop the “he’s a test bowler” mantra and try him in all formats

Re: Logan Cup: Rocks v Tuskers & Rhinos v Mountaineers (12th-15th Feb)
Burl should be really dominating domestic cricket at this point and he just isn't. He's having a very very bad season with the bat. Do you think he deserves a spot in the test squad? Nope I agree, there has to be a high price to earn a spot in the chevrons. He has only performed marginally well aga...

BINGO!!! Yeah, didn’t y’all get the memo? Our ICC grant is for upper management to procure the next batch of top-of-the-line SUVs not facilitate this pesky cricket tourssecretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 12:05 pmThe attitude is probably very much 'We will come and play you, but you've got to pay for everything'.

Re: Why do we never play Namibia?
I can get the lack of $$ being a limiting factor to overseas tours, but as ZD pointed out, this is at most a 6 hour bus ride, reasonable hotels in Namibia are cheaper than Zimbabwe where a struggle 3 star establishment charges Palm Beach rates. A travelling party of 15 players and 5 staff. No Rajput...

Re: 2022 U19 World Cup Thread
its extremely obvious Rashid is lying about his age. If other players are playing BBL and first class at 12 or so, then that should be immediately obvious. Not even up for debate. The players have said so themselves how many times now? has Rashid been asked in public about it? There are more images...

Re: Logan Cup: Eagles v Mountaineers & Tuskers v Rhinos (6th-9th Feb)
Mavuta and Wellington have had decent seasons with bat and ball. Mavuta with 30 wickets, Wellington on 29. Only Masuku has more with 31. Mavuta is averaging 47 with the bat this season and Wellington is averaging 33. Makes more sense to have Mavuta in the squad for me than Mutombodzi. Mutombodzi is...

https://www.sundaymail.co.zw/zim-crickets-unsung-hero The problem is you have guys like this who you can clearly tell feel like they were cheated by the system back in the day but they contribute a lot even up to now. Whether they have a case or not is besides the point. They just will never forget...

Re: Logan Cup: Eagles v Mountaineers & Tuskers v Rhinos (6th-9th Feb)
Wes will never be a test player of any substance, his technique is far too loose. Still very early days in his career, but it looks like Wes is hitting the proverbial wall after a solid start to his career. He is going to have to adapt his game a bit. My initial assessment of him was that his stren...

Re: The many silences of Heath Streak
To think that this man did his matchfixing in Indian club cricket, long after he retired from playing or coaching Zimbabwe!!. This situation is a god-send for any organisation with a half-competent PR department. Simply say, the man is a legend, will always be treasured here HOWEVER he ran into issu...
