But my comeback to that Jaybro is what's the point?
We don't have ANY seamers that are competent who are available apart from maybe Chatara on his day.

We could legit use hammy as th third seamer and he would probably do a better job statswise than say Tiripano or Ngarava.
Why add someone who provides no value at the expense of Raza, musakanda or hammy?

Liek this series has shown us. Best to go into damage control and slow shit down then outpace the opposition with the bat. Puts pressure on the opponent to go in excess of 300 which may cause a few wickets in itself.

Really big victory here. I really do fancy our chances in the final game if we chase again. Anything under 350 in this series to me can be chased down. Modern day cricket I guess. Like Dean jones said, if Solomon Mire bats 30/35 overs we will win most games. He is absolutely devastating on his day. that 6 off Malinga alone should get him some more t20 contracts. Musakanda again playing well. Our batting lineup is pretty much settled right now. Our bowling is really worrying me at the moment. I always used to say we were 60% there despite our losses now I think we are 75% there. BT coming back will get us 80% there.

Bringing back 1 player has made a difference imagine a few more. I reckon we throw some money at Snater who was playing for the Dutch and got scouted by Essex. We also need to throw even more money to Jarvis. Somehow we have to convince him. Double his salary or something.the new MD should give the guys some hope. Add these 2 guys and send Vitori for a fast bowling clinic until the end of the year and we will be 90% there. The rest will be just a change in mentality

Yeah you're right Dogg but cricket is definitely a 'horses for courses' type of sport especially the bowling side of it. With our part time spinners being so effective we're getting away with it in this series but I don't think we can use this formula in all conditions. I think they really want Mire to kick on with the ball but not sure he has it in him ......

Taibu and his rising stars academy doing wonders for some lads with all the game time. Look at how musakanda has benefited. I think we will see mavuta and mashinge in senior colours in the not too distant future

I really like Taibu & his vision.

Zim has finally got a great backroom staff.

Congratulations to Zimbabwe on this victory. Craig Ervine is a class act.

Wow, I missed all the fun yesterday. Still feels unreal that we can calmly chase down big totals.
