Looks like Williams wont be travelling after all. A few more change of hearts, perhaps we could have the local competition back on. And here I was think the needs of the many out weigh the needs of a few.

Williams must be the biggest liar in the team right now. Expect a completely different explanation when he hits a fifty and is inteviewed by Firdose or someone as to why he passed up on Afghanistan. The good thing is he's always the one doing voluntary contradictionstawac wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2017 11:25 amhttps://www.dailynews.co.zw/articles/20 ... ghan-offer

Zimbabwean newspapers have a tendency of reports that disappear, or links that die, so I'll leave this quote here just in case:
Williams didn't go to AFG because he wanted to be extra fit for Zimbabwe's heavily packed domestic cricket schedule, that's highly competitive and world class. Now watch sear Sean Williams not miss a single domestic match before WI games start.“I just decided against travelling out to Afghanistan. I wanted to pass my fitness test and the Afghan competition comes at a time I feel I’m only half through my best fitness levels. I’m glad that I passed my mock beep test last week under national team fitness trainer Sean Bell and Matabeleland Tuskers head coach Wayne James. This was only a mock test and now looking forward to the actual test that is set for September 11.”
Williams is now concentrating on the forthcoming domestic cricket season which gets underway later this month.
