Yeah they have got to try and sign Sean in my opinion. A short term thing. Its a win/win situation for everybody involved. Would he mind testing his skills in SA and Bangladesh for 6 weeks? The kids would learn so much from him. There is also a t20 world cup in 2020. That would be a nice way to sign out
Raza is a must as well. I would tempt him with the captaincy
30 Probables for Zimbabwe Tour Of South Africa & Bangladesh

The side already is packed with older players ( at full strength ) is the answer really to bring back Sean??
Part of me would love to see it as he’s always been my favourite Zim cricketer, but I think giving experience to Tari, Burl & Murray is more important

There's a place for Sean Ervine opening the batting, problem solved

Tari will struggle in the opening slot.
Murray is a keeper so 7/8. He’s at university. I can see no one reads my posts
he won’t be available for Bangladesh. He’ll only get a game in SA if Taylor doesn’t want to keep, which would waste a slot. Murray is a bit behind in the batting dept at the moment, needs to play a lot more FC games, but the potential is there, no doubt. I guess you could give him a shot because he’s about the only youngster we’ve got that has the capacity to play at the top level and we’re in dire need of new players. I hear he’s very keen to make a career of it once he’s completed Uni so that’s great news.
I watched Shumba recently. He looked very ordinary and has a tremendous amount of work to do. He’s not making runs against bang average schoolboy bowling at that St George’s T20, there was a St John’s lad called Cameron Butler that batted very well, hits a long ball. Dollar was decent, always played one shot too many, as did Shardendorff, but they’re pretty good. Shardendorff has got a lot of ability, but he’s not winning games.
Sadly there was not much else on show and our local teams got soundly thrashed by the three SA schools. I don’t think they lost a single game. We’ve fallen a long way behind in the last few years. If you’re not a schoolboy superstar in Zim against this bowling you’ve not got a snowball’s chance in hell, that’s the bottom line. A good batsman against this bowling should be getting 100 every second game.

That's a shame about Shumba, I had high hopes for him. Hopefully he turns it around.
IMO Murray should be the keeper in all three forms.
