Realistically Kriterion your blokes will overrun us at this rate. But it would be nice to watch a decent partnership for once this series.

It has to be seen if the spinners will be as ineffective as they were in the first game. Dhaka had some serious turn and bounce (more so for an ODI wicket). But we've got 4 seamers today, granted 2 of them all rounders. Saif isn't exactly a trundler bowling around 132-135, and I've seen him get up to 139 at the U-19 world cup so he has a bit of gas. But Ariful is a true military medium.
Taylor getting away with a little obstruction, but in his defense that is kind of reflexive. 5 penalty runs might have been a fair recompense.

C'mon fellas

Very harsh on Mavuta and Chatara to get dropped. They need a good partnership here between Brendan and Williams.
Zimbabwe actually are getting fair amount of fixtures if you compare that with the likes of Ireland, Scotland even Afghanistan, and they have played more cricket this yr than New Zealand too.. need to make the most of these opportunities guys.
I'd like to see Kamumhukamwe given an extended run at the top of the order and Murray in the middle order. They also need a bowling coach and work on getting back guys like Brian Vitori... Is Panyangara still in the mix?

Mavuta could have been played. But he was also bowling pretty poorly. Wicketless tour so far could dent his confidence ahead of the far more important Test series.sam_ahm wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 9:41 amVery harsh on Mavuta and Chatara to get dropped. I am struggling to remember if Mortaza has ever bowled a yorker in his entire career. Shocking and explains he's such a poor death overs bowler. Under pressure and he gave Taylor a 6.
Soumya should never be allowed to bowl...terrible bowler. And a full toss after the six.
