Re: Sean Ervine returns to Zimbabwe along Goodwin and Mariller
Sean Ervine's just accepted my friend request on facebook. I've left him a message asking him as to wether or not the atricle in which Zimfan1 printed out for us all, is indeed true, or just a rumour which is circulating around Zimbabwean Cricket. Either way, i'll get comfirmation from the man sooner or later, because he's online as i speak

I'll believe it when I see it. But I would be *very* happy if it turns out to be true.

Sean Ervine was arguably the greatest loss from the rebel strike. He was young and already a world class player. If he returns it will be the best news Zimbabwean cricket has had in a long time. Murray Goodwin and Dougie Marillier are also useful additions. I will always remember watching Marillier in his debut series against New Zealand in Zimbabwe and performing admirably.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Re: Sean Ervine returns to Zimbabwe along Goodwin and Mariller
Goodwin would have a huge role to play if Zim were going to return to test cricket in the short term. He has proven test quality and has over recent seasons been opening the batting for Sussex. None of the top 7 or 8 best Zim batsman are openers and nobody currently opening for the franchises looks to have international pedigree.
Surprised not to see Blignaut's name on the list.

This would be the best news out of Zim Cricket in a long tym. Let hope it comes to fruitation. My worry is as Dave Houghton also puts it the seam bowling department we seem to be liking greatly.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

At this rate a sixth franchise will be required next year!
