Terrific 100 from ervine ..he is technically very sound so not surprised ..infact Williams struggles more often than not in this format

Yea I was guilty of suggesting he be left out.

I guess he's just broke the door back down for selection. Brilliant batting.

So BT and Ervine have probably sealed their spots and so should Marumani. Madhevere will be there and potentially Myers? Burl should also be there. Interesting selections coming

ZIM should select 2-3 youngsters in every squad in order to groom them once the Big 4 retire.

Some of us might have been too quick to leave Ervine out of our T20 teams. Thats an amazing innings right there.
Ervine has never really done much to truly warrant a place in the T20 side. But looking around, we really dont have too many batsman raising their hands at all. This innings was brilliant and it shows he can also play the in this format. To me Ervine comes across much like Rassie van Dussen once he gets going he normally comes out good. If he can do the same against Pakistan the will be good for us.

I love watching Craig play. He plays with such a straight bat and steady positioning. His body position is great. Head is steady. By far our most technically correct batsman.

The good sign is that runs in the form of sixes and fours are coming in thick and fast as the tournament progresses. Batsmen are scoring big hundreds like Craig and BT did, and youngsters like Marumani and Burl are putting up their hands. Early on, teams totals look very bleak, struggling to go past 160 mark.
