I know there is a lot riding on zimbabwe cricket from a cricket perspective and we are in a results based business but am wondering how much zimbabwe stands to get should they beat PNG tomorrow and qualify for world cup

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Prize Money
The winning team in the tournament will receive $3.5 million. The runners-up team will end up taking $1.5 million home. The two teams who will be knocked out in the semi-finals stage will receive $750k each. Each participating nation will get $300k each.

Whether ZC hand that over to the team or not remains to be seen. Would that be just the players or also the support staff? Would there be equal distribution amongst the players? I recall there being a big issue before with the Zim team and appearance money. It was discussed on this forum at length.

I remember that before the 2015 CWC, the players made the board provide a signed agreement that they would get a portion of the money straight up, before they left for Oz. Perhaps they could do something this time. It'll be around £15k each
