We fucked this up can't get over it ..golden opportunity to knock down worst Windies team ever and we squandered it .sad way to see ervine and Williams go from the T20 format (our cup is over, it's rain all over on Friday night)

Calm down mate. West Indies have by far the bowlers in our group, a mf like Alzarri Joseph is a handful even for the world number 1 team. We had a very strong game against Ireland and we've made a few dumb errors here. Rain is out of our hand so no use worrying about it. All we can do is hope Dave and the team prepare for Scotland as well as they can and hope the players execute properly.

They bowled well, sure, but there has to be a lot of blame on our players and/or strategy from the coaches today. We had 50 runs from the first five overs, chasing 150. All you do from there is play sensible cricket shots and it should be straightforward. Instead we had guys wafting hard at everything wide, trying to slog every ball. Madness. Really, really poor game management. I'm not sure if our players are just a bit dim, or if there was very poor leadership from the captain/coach. Or a combination of both.
Some of our most senior players are the most to blame. Again - we were chasing a low score and had an excellent start. Williams' dismissal was horrible. Raza - trying to slog straight after hitting a six the previous ball? Burl charging down the track every ball and trying to hit everything to Sydney.

The forecast says it is going to rain excessively for the whole evening on Friday. That's it.

I'm pretty sure Shumba hasn't had a good game in this format for about 12 months now btw.

Munyonga at 3 is a really strange decision too. I don't think he's ever batted that high in his career before, at any level in any format.

Yes and that is what Hurts..Joseph is good we could have played him out ..100 runs in 14 overs is as easy as you get in those conditions ..just needed some calm batting rather than trying to slog everything .I wouldn't have been crying so much if forecast of rain was not there..if there is no rain i would still back our team to beat scotland

Zimbabwe Has Done Some Serious Mistakes in this World cup:
1) They Should Have bought in Evans instead of Munyonga will give depth in batting and Bowling.
2) Experienced Wellington instead of Shumba.
(Shumba and Munyonga never Seamed World Class)
3) Droping T Marumani and I Kaia from worldcup squad Which Forces R Chakbva to open the bat.
4) Pushing Burl and Jongwe To deep they have the ability to bat 3 and 4 if two quick wickets were down.
5) Houghton Seems to be more traditional that doesn't work out in T20s.

Probably it's Scotland and Westindies will through to next round . Another Heartbreak as a Fan of Zimbabwe cricket

It hurts for sure but I will keep my hopes of the rain staying away for now. They said it will rain a lot during this week yet we've had all games completed so far.

I tell you what, BBC forecast had it raining here through the afternoon and it didn't rain one drop. I understand the forecast of Australia and all is far better but let's hope.
