Was just doing some random Cricinfo surfing and found that there’s a T20 comp on in Kenya at the moment that Elton is playing in for the excellently named Mombasa Cement Giants. There’s a few other overseas players kicking around in it like Dwayne Smith, Kevin O’Brien, Thisara Perera and Owais Shah, who is now 44 years old.
Bit of a shame that this wasn’t at a time where some young Zim players could have gone and had a hit, but just thought it was interesting to see his name pop up. He’s still 36, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s found in random leagues like this going forward when he’s not too busy playing for Zim Under 19s as someone mentioned the other day
