Madande only guy to back up from the ODI series, I love this guy you just can tell he wants to win and has the desire.

@crimson can we start “MadandeMania” ???
Absolutely! Totally on it. In fact, if someone is already not on MadandeMania yet, they must question themselves :). I loved the guy's approach and temperament in whatever little I have watched so far.

As someone who has become a bit more of a casual viewer of domestic cricket, there are some names that seem to be coming from way out of obscurity after not being seen for years. Nigel Bonyongwe could be my new favourite name in zim cricket, and I’d never heard of Gabriel Jaya or this fella Myobi at the Tuskers.

This Mboyi guy seems pretty decent with the gloves, four catches and a stumping. Definitely the right move to make him keeper instead of Madande, but then how can Madande develop his glovework if he's not doing it at domestic level?

A round-up of the interesting selections;

Antum Naqvi - Has he found a local wife/dodgy passport yet? :lol:
Gabriel Jaya - first franchise appearance of over 2 years
Nigel Mupurura - Only his 3rd First Class match after debuting a whopping 12 years ago. Took all 10 wickets in an innings in the Vigne Cup last weekend, which is a local record.
Jayden Schadendorf - First Class debut. Tried out for Notts 2nd XI at the same time as his younger bro, who is better. In the wilderness ever since after some personal issues and was playing 2nd and 3rd division club cricket in Leicestershire recently.
Dion Myers - nice to have him back
Nigel Bonyongwe - His first First Class appearance since 2015....
Dalubuhle Mboyi - local club stalwart, first First Class appearance since 2014....
Munnashe Chimusoro - u19, debut

Question on Maphosa playing for Tuskers. Cricinfo lists him as Tawanda Maphosa, who also played in the T20 recently, but I believe he is on the current India U23 tour. ZC App lists today's Tuskers player as Tinotenda Maphosa. Different guy? Debut if so.

Lot of discussion has happened on him on this forum, but whatever you guys say, this lad is a serious talent and it is only good to have him playing. What a sensational season he is having.

I don't mind him playing . Does he have a zimbabwean passport? Or possibly he can get one through residency route
