Evans is by far and away our most accurate bowler, but doesn't take wickets. I think he made a breakthrough in the T10 with a new slower ball. He's an extremely talented guy, also from a talented family. If he'd had the opportunities Jongwe has had he'd be up and running and a good piece of our team. There's room for both of them in the side given the right conditions.
Jongwe has gotten into better shape I see, but when you see an out of shape guy who's just doing enough taking the place of an athlete you know there are other factors

Jongwe's batting is shite. And if you're going to bowl a beamer every last over...has a golden arm though. Evans is better all day every day.
Very true. Idk how many innings Jongwe has played, but I think he's had all of two good knocks in a career spanning probably 5 full years over a decade. Marumani is heading in that territory too, except that he's a top order player and much younger so has some time, but time is starting to run out given his extremely slow start. Madhevere can obviously come back as long as he stays away from drugs and booze.

Bennett is just leagues better than Marumani, Shumba, or anyone not named Myers. If Myers comes back - is there any word on this? - that will be MASSIVE.
I'm not convinced about Myers now, he has been away for too long and we can't say if he still has that motivation to play cricket for his country.

Wes definitely has the talent, may be he is better than Bennett or Campbell, but he needs to get his focus right.

Dunno why you're discounting NW. He's coming, watch. You don't like him?

Madhevere certainly has the talent. He just doesn't know how to use it. If he can figure it out and learn to play the ball along the ground, he'll be good.
Myers had the brains and the talent...he probably still has it, or has enough to still be ahad of Marumani, Shumba, Gumbie and others.

I can’t watch due to work but looking good so far. Don’t mind seeing off Shakib if that was the plan

Jongwe still looks less athletic than Tinashe Panyangara.
