The sack the transformation targets off for a World Cup because they want the best chance of winning, they’ll be back for meaningless bilateral’s though. Shows how much faith they really have in the system.
Agreed, but still a bold step.

Ya, agreed bro! A sole black man in the squad 30 years on from re admission is very bold indeed  bizarre really.

Ervine, Burl, Williams, Campbell x 2 , Evans, Bennett, James, Welch x 2, Schardendorf (possibly another coming?),
Macmillan?, Schonken, Curran, BT (?).
Ballance if tobacco gets hit by hail.
Byrom if he jacks it in in UK
Eksteen? He was not as sharp as I'd been told but he might be a late bloomer.
Maybe one or two more mystery guys will pop out the woodwork? When Barney Rogers son gets to about 12 he'll play for Zim Mens (genius kid)
Viljoen's boy will probably be quite sharp when he gets older.

Amongst the Indian/Pakistani guys the better guys are
Ali Hamid (good player), Ronak Patel, Faraz, Raza, and a couple of others.

There's also Knackers.

Ya there's suddenly a few settlers, colonizers and shop keepers in franchise or on the periphery.

If they're going to look after some older guys next season so they dont have to sell Buddy cards at the street lights there's actually room for a 6th franchise.

Realistically there's room for about 4 maybe 5 lighter skinned guys, at a push, before we see some shenanigans.
Whilst Ervine, Raza, Williams and possibly BT are around there will be a couple of guys that will have to bide their time, but once they're gone the "selectors/gatekeepers will be able to pick our best eleven.

There will be repercussions, recriminations and disgruntlement over that SA squad, mark my words.

Playing out of Vic Falls naturally and will take many business trips to get off the ground

I feel outraged at the cultural misappropriation of Raza and Faraz being lumped in with us murungu  they deserve their own none existent quota classification.

Is it though?
The targets only say 3 black blacks if I recall correctly.
They are still adhering to the coloured targets.

Targets say 2 black africans and 6 players of color. It's not a massive miss on the face of it, but it's kind of unexpected going by the way they prioritised transformation over the last decade.

Eksteen looked handy with the ball but was very much in the mold of Kyle Bowie.

Ya that one game in particular he bowled very well. I'd heard that he was a good bat as well, but he was disappointing in that dept.
Problem is he looks like he'll become a dibbly dobbly type bowler, doesn't look like he'll develop gas. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Have South Africa moved on from Wayne Parnell? Seems to have lost his spot in both ODIs and T20s, to be honest he was doing OK before getting injured and then was overlooked!

Hopefully. Extremely over rated, well and truly past it and a very average bloke. Nandre Burger and Marco Jansen are ten times the cricketer he ever will be
