Ya but they hate him too. They'll keep picking him only for his worst format.
Not convinced they do hate him. Has been picked for a lot of "A" team and emerging cricket over the last couple of years. And we have to admit he looked very out of his depth against India, whilst Madande did help win the 1st T20.

Can't see Welch getting selected straight away, will need to pile on the runs and to be honest Ireland may be a better option for him personally compared to the Afghanistan spinners.

Just don't want to see Musekiwa selected, such a limited player compared to other options available.

Raza surely won’t play these tests. Hasn’t played a red ball game for years.
That’s no problem. Domestic form doesn’t factor into selection these days

He’d be full on bazball. Big score striking at 100%+ or out for less than 20 striking at 50%. No middle ground.

I reckon Raza will play, will have major FOMO, maybe will play the 2nd test after we get thrashed in the first.

I’d think he’d have an eye on that England test for sure. It’s historic and we haven’t played them in a generation. Get a couple in before then so he gets back into the groove of the longer form.

1000% he will want to play in that England test so ideally will need to get a couple under his belt before that.
Williams and Ervine will also be desperate to play.
I'm sure BT will also be keen
Unfortunately not at Lords, bloody rude of England, they know how much Lords means to all cricketers.

Lord's has got the WTC Final this year, plus an India test. No way they were going to get 3 in a summer. But yeah, would have loved to see Zim there.

Curran and Nyamhuri make the Afghan squad. They seem to have a lot of faith in Musekiwa as well.

Clive is injured, so who's been dropped for Nyamhuri?

I'd like to see him actually. Got some aggression and swing.

Very impressed they picked Curran, he's had an incredible first half of the season. Well done Ben!!

Katiano in T20 squad. Nyauchi in ODI squad.

Basically Katiano has replaced Madande in the T20s and Curran has replaced him in the ODIs.

No one, both 16 man squads. Gutted for Campbell. Musekwria has one last chance.
