Chigumbura’s son was at that academy in India for over twelve months yes. Some of the others have been back and forth too.

Very interesting to know how these selections are made to attend OMTEX cricket institute in India and who is actually bank roling these Indian training programs. Setting up such centres locally and getting the right coaches could benefit a lot more kids with Zimbabwe being a test playing nation and all.

We have committed to a further scholarship in 2026 and hoping that Churchill will be able to host cricket matches by then…..

The Rockingham boys will be coming back to Chitungwiza in October or November. If anyone can help with kit, please let me know….
