I feel as Zim supporters we are quick to drop someone after one -two bad games. All without any context.

We have a record amount of test this year. The fringe guys should be atleast trying to get five games in. Before making calls.

I think most of the guys will be given the next game to prove themselves. I don't see much changing besides the extra seamer. Maybe Dion will get a chance.

Another way to do it might be the old fashioned way of making the new kid bat down the order and work his way up. Bennett really benefited from that. Got a century down the order to get some confidence and release the pressure. Then went straight to the top. The only way I see this working is BT opening or coming in at number 3 until 2027.

The pressure up top is not for the faint hearted, especially against the top sides. They throw everything at you

Myers comes from the wilderness and will most likely walk into the team ahead of Welch. I bet Wessy will keep his place but it should be difficult for the youngman mentally. Masekesa over Wezha is not going to happen any time soon. They literally went toe to toe and Wezha came gud. I wonder why we cant try Marumani in tests. Its sad he has been labelled a white ball player but his FC stats say otherwise. Without Curran and Bennet we clearly don't have any one to turn to. This is why its very important for ZC to have a serious look at players like M Welch A Frost, Tanu who have shown that they have a bit to work with.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

That being said, Prince should make way for Myers or someone.
Fat, 36, and with scores of 7 and 12. No point.

That I agree with.
Some of his chases fielding for the ball, were just not up to standard, embarrassing
Innocent Kaia would have been better.

Our batting lineup is very thin these days - Williams and Ervine as the old guard and Bennett as the only youngster who looks the real deal. It is going to get very ugly once Williams and Ervine retire.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

I think there will be a struggle but i feel some players will start to step up, maybe not to Williams level but enough to carry the team. This could me being optimistic or delusional.

The worry is we become a Bennet or bust team. Thank god we have decent bowling.
