There’s not been much cricket on  seems about 50 years since the England test. This place is dead between series.
We just had 2 tests mate 😂
Yeah that’s true  less said about it the better.

Not sure about the first one. 2 spinners seemed wild when the XI was announced, but it was turning miles for masekesa and Wellington. Clearly was a spinning pitch. Williams’ 137 was boss.

Second one was a disaster from start to finish

Wellington averaging 27.00 and being our second best batter in the series is the stand out stat

 Personally losing to South Africa was going to hurt. But the way we lost really has me down.

Ya  we know we’ll lose. Just want a bit of fight. Make them bat twice at least.

Interesting listening to Sammonds. He speaks well. He's certainly coached a few decent SA batters in his time, that's a big box tick for me because we've had a vast number of coaches that have the ticket, but can't really lay claim to having really helped someone specifically.

As far as our batters go have we seen any progress?
A bit here and there, but its not too promising.

By year end he's going to be under the pump, we've got some proper opposition lined up. Only thing that might save him is if theres no hiccup in the qualifiers.

I've heard some decent things about the coaches from players.

That was a poor t20 tourno from Raza. Some big players were there. When youre on that circuit you cant afford too many hiccups, you get quickly forgotten. Raza has a back stop in that hes popular on the Asian circuit and has done well there. Hopefully he brings his A game for these games because we are going to be under the pump big time.

Congratulations @ProteasMenCSA . This was indeed a dominant performance especially considering that you were missing some of your key players from the Test Championship Final team.

However what South African supporters need to understand is that you didn't play our strongest team either - in fact aside from a few players who deserve their place in our side there are numerous other players who do not deserve to be in this side. Whilst some of this was caused by the non availability of some key players, most of the problem is a self inflicted wound.

A quick read of the scorecards for the two Tests instantly explains what I am writing about. A more detailed examination of Zimbabwean players' objective statistics reveals more. There are players who do not deserve to be in this side and there are other players who deserve to at least be given a chance.

Sadly because of certain destructive personal, racial and regional policies we are not selecting teams on merit and this last Test has made that glaringly obvious.

It is time for Cricket Zimbabwe to have some serious introspection. Before we play New Zealand in the next Test series there needs to be a change in policy - our teams must be chosen solely on merit. The decision regarding "merit" must be based on actual performances and historical track records of players, irrespective of what Club they play for, where they come from or their race.

If the current selectors are unable to implement this policy professionally then they should be removed and replaced with former players who have the Nation and game at heart - rather than the pursuit of their own agendas.

If the management of ZC is not prepared to act in the national interest then the Minister of Sport and the Sport and Recreation Commission must act.

His one the day before where he was saying Williams practically came off his death bed with a serious life threatening illness to make a blistering 83* was better

He loves a comment old Dave.

Love to know he goes about it, since he lives in Zim and always questioning the status quo.
