How disappointing. I really don't know what to say anymore other than we just aren't good enough. Yeah the bowling is good but its not that good. Gotta be more positive plus play with more smarts like slow the game down for fuck sake. How the fuck do you let a team bowl 29 overs in the 1st session especially when majority was pace bowlers.
Every time I'm more and more convinced: Zimbabwe is to be forever grateful to Raza, but his time is definitely gone.
He doesn't have anymore the concentration to play for national team, almost all his recent performances are overly poor.

Definitely in the long format, i still think he has something to add to the white ball teams, shouldn't be t20 skip tho.
Im not sold on Bennett as a test opener to, white ball yes but at test level his gonna struggle against quality attacks or on wickets that have abit in them. Our long tail really hurts us to, basically we have 4 number 11s, unacceptable in this day and age.

People never listen to me about this but largely, Raza has always been inconsistent and poor against the top teams. The last few years we went on an associate binge and he feasted.

That is his strength, he dominates mediocre bowling, but he has never been consistent against the best. He is capable though. I still think in tests he should be our frontline spinner.

That's shows how much lazy the zimbabwe players are. They think their spot in national team is guaranteed and they don't want to improve their skill the moment they got into the national team.

When is our next Test after this? it would be interesting to play a fellow minnow like Ireland, Afghanistan or Bangladesh in the next couple of months to see if we actually have learnt anything and improved.

This spell of playing England/SA/NZ has been horrendous and it's hard to judge progress.
