Raza the hero yet again.

And yet again out trying something fancy and failing to get us over the line
I hope youre joking? That was a brilliant innings. Right idea too, just missed the ball.
Just seeing who it reels in

Here's Tony's last 8 deliveries.
Dot dot 1 dot 1 dot dot 1.
You can blame Gwandu, Bennett, Taylor or whoever. You can blame Williams and Curran for soft dismisals. This shit sport unfortunately is a blame game. You can even blame Raza and Tony jointly for letting it get to 90 off 60. But its a team sport and you sink or swim together.
But...when you're well in on a decent pitch and seeing it and youre a specialist batsman and a "finisher" this is not a good look.

I blame the green label gulping, stadium building, nasty people in VIP in charge of millions who know more about nuclear fission than they do about cricket.

I think what separates players you want in your side from those you don't is that the good guys, regardless of how they did (especially in a losing cause) will introspect and blame themselves and think- if only I did a bit more and a bit of this and that I could have won the game for my team. They look to improve and take full responsibility. The rest blame others and thank Jesus they did enuf with their 23 to get picked for the next 18 months.

Went to bed when Williams went out and just finished the highlights today.

Easy to pick on individual performances when a game is that close. Really should have won that. I am hoping the team keeps this level for Sunday.

To go back to a few post.

The twitter stuff is getting worse and worse by the day lol.
Every second player needs to be dropped for someone not in the squad lol
You swear half the people hate watch Zim games.

I am surprised noone is saying anything about Wes..
Are they going to trsde Gwandu for Nyamhuri or Masuku..
Is Madande in for Wes..
Why not drop Bennet to 5 spot behind Raza and move Munyoga 3rd and BT opens..

It might be a shit excuse but I actually think Sri Lanka's slow over rate helped them win there. It got dark very quickly. That change in a high pressure situation for me was the small differential that made it just that little bit harder for us.

I don't usually like blaming any specific person when the team came that close. They must all individually look at their performance and ask themselves what could they have done better to get us over the line.

That’s the hard thing about playing only two ODIs. Any bloke getting dropped is stiff

Exactly. Where are the penalty runs being awarded to us, or taken off them? What am I missing?
