Clearly not done any homework on this Tariq spinner. They have no idea how to play him

That Tariq will be a handful for any batsmen until they get use to him. That pause in his delivery stride is off putting

Taylor is done. Can't be playing him in the World Cup
Taylor is indeed underperforming. Still there are on ground other batsmen worse than him.

Welch or Curran for WorldT20? Yes I would agree.

However, a question remains: if Taylor is to be ruled out because of poor batting, there's Tsiga who is an excellent keeper but worse than Taylor as batsman.

Hence: who is to be Zimbabwe wicket keeper at next World T20?

Burl once against showing that heis inconsistent but capable. Munyonga and Musikewa have never shown that they are capable against test sides.

This is terrible selection.

Truth be told, if Naqvi gets eligible before the WC, that's the best thing for Zimbabwe.

It's hurts to see BT batting they way his batting. He should just retire.

That went to script, apart from Bennett not making runs. Shite shot from him.
BT is looking to nudge it around hoping for a bad ball. You gotta be looking to come forward if the opportunity presents itself. You just look to sit in your crease you're going to make a mistake. In theory he should be dropped, but he won't be. He has the skill set, we know that, but he's a jibbering wreck and it aint gonna get easier in this format.
Maru got a bit unlucky there, just clothed it to cover. But the fact remains he struggles against top bowling, just hasnt found a way. I had high hopes for him today.
Raza coming in at 4 just sums it up- he's condoning these selections. He must stop making these impassioned post and pre-match speeches when he knows he's covering for these guys. As good as he is, he's lame. For shame.
Burl had a beautiful innings, he needed that. How is he so inconsistent when he can play shots like that?
Not sure what to say about Tony. He's not good enuf at this level and he's had about 30 more opportunities than he should have. They bowled beautifully, but you cant be 1 off 7 chasing a big total like that. If you can play catch-up then maybe, but he hasn't shown us he can. His last many many innings have shown that he is struggling. I was looking at statsguru on espn. Eeish. If he showed a Marumani skill set I'd say ok, but he doesn't hsve that.
Musekiwa has big problems against quality spin. Always been his achilles heel.
Evans got a brilliant ball, looked like a carom ball? That would have bamboozled a lot of good players.
Quite why Masakadza comes in ahead of him is a mystery.
Terrible shot as well. Cremer should have played today.
Is he only getting 2 games before the WC? Absofuckinglutely ridiculous. Wellie bowled well, I'm not arguing that, but they should be giving Cremer opportunity...or drop him. What's he there for?
Maphosa had no plan against that spin either. The guy was bowling 75kph and bamboozling everyone except Burl, who had his number.

These selectors have squandered 18 months of prep, determined to be proven right and backed the wrong horses.
Theyre not improving, and the guys in waiting are going backwards as well. Theyve killed 3 birds with one stone. Shameful.
