I'm waiting for the spin about Blignaut's and Mazai's courage and determination under the most extreme pressure.
Bear in mind they dont think Blignaut is good enuf to be a regular bowler.

It looks like had Pakistan allowed Scotland to quali it would have affected their NRR. I'm still trying to work out why.

Zolsky must have got his wallet out and paid a visit to the Pakistani change room
I think something like this has occurred. Probably to that Hussein guy that snoozed it.

Article 2.11 of the ICC Code of Conduct prohibits the "manipulation of International Matches for inappropriate strategic or tactical reasons," explicitly including inappropriate manipulation of net run rate (NRR) or bonus points.Key ProvisionsThis Level 2 offence targets actions like deliberately slowing scoring rates, limiting victory margins, or conceding runs to influence group standings unfairly, often to eliminate rivals indirectly. The team captain bears primary responsibility and faces sanctions such as fines (50-100% of match fee) or up to 2 suspension points, potentially missing 1-2 matches.Enforcement ContextIn scenarios like Zimbabwe U19 vs Pakistan U19 today, where NRR could decide Super Six qualification, teams cannot intentionally manipulate outcomes (e.g., narrow wins/losses for NRR gain) without risking charges. Past cases, such as Australia's 2024 T20 World Cup comments, highlight ICC scrutiny, though proving intent remains challenging.

Scotland will obviously complain bitterly.
BCCI who are effectively ICC would like to censure Pakistan, but their relationship with ZC is solid and we are hosting, so it might be a light rap on the knuckles for the Pakistani captain, maybe a 2 rupee fine

There’s nothing to see. Pakistan just couldn’t get bat on ball.

At the end of the day Scotland bottled their game against England. They could have put this outcome out of our reach.

How did Mazai bowl? Contacts on the ground have said he's very similar to Richie when he was 18 and can swing the new ball
