Why not make the series against Namibia and Canada as ODIs and play the national team against them, and send an A team to India? That way, we can build upon our impressive start to the year, and show off out team depth in India too. If we are sending the national team to India, nothing less than winning the tournament would impress. And it is the A team players who are in need of Academy facilities, and not the national team.
1.Namibia tour (March 10-March 16) Squad Announced.
2.Series against Canada (March 18-March 26)
3.Deodhar Trophy in India (March 13-March 18)
Option 1:
Good suggestion,Crimson Avenger. But I dont think that the national side will play against Namibia as the 'A' team has already announced.
So,I opt for the national side to play against Canada as a home series.
And send an academy/representative side to India as the 'A' side cant do this as they will be in Namibia.
Option 2:
Or,Send the national side to India for Deodhar Trophy and start the Canada series in March 22th or you can cut the series into 3 ODIs so that the national side will be able to play both in the Deodhar Trophy and against Canada.
'A' side will play against Namibia I think that is sure...
