Name your first eleven for the 1st ODI
Re: Name your first eleven for the 1st ODI
Taylor has been gone for year and half. At this point, my guess is that Coventry is better trained to keep against Zimbabwean bowlers. I would stick with Coventry unless there is a huge gap between his keeping standard and that of Taylor.

Yeah, he's not good enough for the national squad I agree. I do hope he recovers from his injury quickly though, you don't want to see guys injured.Detective RDS wrote:brmtaylor.com admin wrote:As far Dabengwa, no matters if it's for injury or for form, he is finally dropped![]()
Without making some miracles for his domestic side, I don't want to see him playing in the national side.
If the guys in the national squad perform well, with Taibu and maybe Mutizwa fighting to get in to the team, Dabengwa might find it difficult to break into the team again (barring miracles as you said Detective).

That's right, brmtaylor.com admin. It's always painful to be injured. I also do hope that he will recover soon and becomes fit to play. I will be happy to have him in the 'A' side, handy player with a good domestic experience. Let's see if he can force me not to say 'Don't pick Dabengwa' but to say 'Pick Dabengwa' by his performance.
