I don't know why Burl is not in that side? He has loads of potential. The team needs young guys to develop. If anyone thinks Jongwe is a better bet than Burl they are just plain stupid.

The problem in this game again only a couple of players played well too many not bringing anything to the table .....
Hami and Vusi batted well, Cremer and Williams bowled well apart from that the rest were passengers .....

I agree with Burl being thrown in their but he's injured with a bad back apparently. I think there is a lot of potential in Jongwe, the guy is still young and we must not forget that.Googly wrote:I don't know why Burl is not in that side? He has loads of potential. Jongwe is 20 years old, he's a babe in arms. There's lots to work with there, not rapid with the ball but will be a good back up bowler.

He was probably a better batsman than bowler for the U19s and has 2 FC tons. He's only shown the smallest signs of it at international level, but he should become a genuine allrounder.sloandog wrote:Jongwe is 20 years old, he's a babe in arms. Yea, everyone saying he can't bat and all, give the kid a break. I mean I wasn't his biggest fan after that appalling first ball shot in the T20, but it doesn't take away from the fact that there's a lot of batting potential thereaydee wrote:He was probably a better batsman than bowler for the U19s and has 2 FC tons.
