Yeah the main motivation was xenophobia and fear of Syrian refugees. Im sure there were lots of 2nd gens who are citizens. Or the white Londoners are just more cosmopolitan and progressive than out in the boonies. Same phenomenon occurs in the US.eugene wrote:
