Britain can of course re-negotiate its relationship with the EU so that they are a bit like Norway which has freedom of movement and similar employment laws as EU members. Brexit doesn't have to mean isolation.

Whatever happens Brexit won't mean isolation as no-one wants that despite the propaganda that says otherwise. Equally it is highly unlikely that freedom of movement will be retained as that was a key plank of the Leave message.

Yeah the main motivation was xenophobia and fear of Syrian refugees. No surprise London with all its foreigners voted Remain.

Im sure there were lots of 2nd gens who are citizens. Or the white Londoners are just more cosmopolitan and progressive than out in the boonies. Same phenomenon occurs in the US.
