Close of play on day 3
Rocks 299 & 306-3 - Rhinos 290
Chibhabha 99, Matambanadzo 82, Chauluka 73* & Marillier 36
Rhinos looking in big trouble here with Rocks 315 ahead and 7 wickets still in hand, Rainsford and very strangely Sibanda have bowled 46 of the 85 2nd innings overs, either Rhinos have some bad injury problems or Sibanda has been watching Utseya's captaincy style.

Re: [Match Thread] Rocks v Rhinos (Logan Cup)
I think, a drawn is the very possible result. It's the last day of the match, Rocks will come in and will try to make some runs very quickly and I think they will take their lead around 400 and will declare. Rhinos has to bat through the rest of the time for a drawn and I think they are capable of doing that especially keeping in mind that Vusimuzi Sibanda is in a blistering form. There is nothing certain in cricket and miracle does happen. It's the last day pitch and after declaration Rocks will certainly attempt to bowl out Rhinos.
Meanwhile, good innings by the Rocks top order. Chibhabha, well made 99, Matambanadzo who played his last FC match in 2004 made 82, Chauluka 73* and S Marillier who is continuing his good work made 36.

Right. ZC issued the current Logan Cup table this morning, and it includes the result of the Rocks v Rhinos match:
both sides scored 12 points, so that indicates a draw (6pts for the draw plus the first-innings bonus points).
Hopefully a scorecard will follow eventually...

Re: [Match Thread] Rocks v Rhinos (Logan Cup)
It shows that whatever they have in the points table is wrong though, we know that Rhinos took the 9th Rocks wicket in the 87th over and then scored 290 in 84.1 overs themselves, that must mean 4 bowling and 3 batting points, plus 6 for a draw is 13 points in total.
I had noticed a couple of days ago that the ZC table was showing that Rocks had played 2 matches and had 5 points, which again was completely wrong.
It's SO frustrating
