Sad but so sad now zimbabwe will not be for main tournament ....the man who said that we will make semis has injured main allrounders jongwe and madizva these makes the shits of chigumbura gets a permanent place and we are surely out and afganistan and netherlands are favorites to go to main round
Re: Graeme Cremer out of World T20
If we're going to have to use 2nd choice bowlers, we might as well stack the side with batsmen.
Bring Cephas in!
Bring Cephas in!
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

As Zimbabwe had a 17-man camp and only 15 can be submitted for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament, only one player – Tawanda Mupariwa – has been called to join the squad.
1 Sikandar Raza Butt
2 Tendai Chatara
3 Chamunorwa Chibhabha
4 Elton Chigumbura
5 Tendai Chisoro
6 Hamilton Masakadza (Captain)
7 Wellington Masakadza
8 Peter Moor
9 Tawanda Mupariwa
10 Richmond Mutumbami (W/keeper)
11 Tinashe Panyangara
12 Vusumuzi Sibanda
13 Donald Tiripano
14 Malcolm Waller
15 Sean Williams

Mupariwa's stats from the T20 competition:
7 matches, 197 runs, 1 wicket @ 197.00, econ. 8.95
That's the problem with Zim's seniority culture: Always pick the oldest cab off the rank

Leg-spinner Graeme Cremer suffered a fractured left forearm when he was hit by the ball while he was batting in the first practice match against the West Indies at the same venue on Saturday.
In the same match, pace bowler Neville Madziva was also hit by the ball on the right thumb while trying to make return catch.
The third player, Luke Jongwe, suffered a head injury when he missed the ball while attempting a return catch and it hit him above the right eye, in the first practice match against the Sharjah Cricket Club last Tuesday. He has been recovering well and has not presented with any neurological symptoms so far.
According to the neurosurgeon, Jongwe will have to rest for three to four weeks away from any cricket activity to give the injury time to heal.

Re: Graeme Cremer out of World T20
don't think Jongwe and Madziva were going to play every game because of the return of chatara and panyangara. definitely believe Chibhabha can play an all rounder role. Cremer is the big blow. really key player. don't think we are out just yet. its up to the batsmen now. they have to take responsibility. our bench is extremely thin. this format only needs 1 inspired player performance to win the game. Apparently Masakadza is 1 of the most purchased players on the fantasy league. people are beginning to take notice. he can lead from the front
