Zim A v Pak A: 4 Dayers Series Thread
Re: Zim A v Pak A: 4 Dayers Series Thread
Having Masakadza opening is interesting in that in opens up a spot in the middle order Masukanda and Moor should be looking to fill those spots.

I think Chamu will play because he bowls as well and I doubt they would not play Mawoyo because he is a specialist. so I think hami will still play at number 3. don't who they are going to pick between waller and raza but I suspect raza will play because he bowls as well.

I hope PJ can turn this aggressive style into ODIs, seems to like the FC format when the field is in and he can hit over the top.

Moor playing a blinder. Taking a liking to the spinners. A century here will all but confirm his place in the Sri Lankan tests

Not a bad day, in reality though only Moor did his chances of playing in the first test any good.
Big day for the bowlers tomorrow.

I feel we should have let Musakanda have a go here. Head and shoulders the form man . I wonder if PJ would suffer from doing Glove work then drop Richmond to open a spot. Cremer needs more domestic games and not rushing himself into international games always looks underprepared

I think PJ should take the gloves. that role down the order where he can freely play his shots with less pressure against a tiring bowling unit suits him for now. he can get promoted up the order as he gains more experience..

If Moor has scored runs, he should be a shoo in for the Tests. Question is he a good enough keeper? I am still behind Chakabva because what I have seen of him, he has the best temperament and technique of the ZIM batters. So even if he's out of form, I would persist with Regis. He's only played 2 tests in the last 2 years anyways. Who should keep? If Moor keeps and bats down the order, Chakabva could bat at 3.
The other question I always seem to ask is, "is Hammy worth keeping in the side?" As much as I don't rate him, his average and his bullying of Bangladesh indicates he's still better than most. So how would a lineup look if Moor is in the side?

I think Moor was a certainty regardless of his performance today. Good to see all the batsmen get some decent time out in the middle.
If Chakaba scores runs in the next game, include both of them.

The best three are Hami, Williams and Ervine. Still leaves room for Mawoyo, Moor, Regis and either take a punt on Musakanda or one of Raza/Chamu/Waller.
