No way we can make this tournament as we will be right in the middle of the NZ tour. And I can't see Bangladesh sending an A team either.

Surely they couldn't schedule the tournament for January anyway. Logistically, 1 month to organise 8+ teams - most of which rely on amateurs with day jobs, they'd need to apply for leave, etc, etc.Kriterion_BD wrote:No way we can make this tournament as we will be right in the middle of the NZ tour. Nah, IMO this is the sort of tournament that needs a few months planning.

Will they delay our season further whilst the Chosen Ones now holiday wherever this tournament is? Senior management will be fighting amongst themselves for this tour of duty!
The Taka's boys will be having back to back holidays.

Sponsored, or are we dipping into the $5 million "set aside" for tours?

I cant see this tourney going on. 8 teams is over ambitious. There was something similar talked about last year but cancelled.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Surely they couldn't schedule the tournament for January anyway. Haha Eugene, it's actually an incredible place. The bush and the wildlife there is amazing. The Gobi Desert would make a welcome change if you've had to endure what's going on here right now.

Funnily enough I was watching "The Last King of Scotland" last night. Idi Amin really ruined Uganda.Googly wrote:Haha Eugene, it's actually an incredible place. Great movie. Forest Whitaker's finest performance, one of my favourite actors. Read George Meredith's State of Africa. Brilliant book. Obote, Amin's successor, made Amin look like Mother Theresa.
