[MatchThread] - Logan Cup - Tuskers v Rhinos
Re: [MatchThread] - Logan Cup - Tuskers v Rhinos
Perhaps Cremer should move up the order why not have him bat at 4 or 5.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

At this rate, maybe he will!tawac wrote:Perhaps Cremer should move up the order why not have him bat at 4 or 5.
Realistically he's never really deserved it before.

So Tuskers decide to go in with 3 proper bowlers, but still can't find a place in the XI for young Charles Kunje when they fill their team up with barsmen / allrounders

Can't understand why Vitori is playing, he was called for chucking so go away and sort out your action instead of taking illegal wickets and preventing another pacer from playing.

Hundred up for Sir Graeme!
I'd prefer to have a quality seamer troubling domestic batsmen with pace and swing, albeit with a questionable action, than some club-level military medium pacer in his place.zimfan1 wrote:Can't understand why Vitori is playing, he was called for chucking so go away and sort out your action instead of taking illegal wickets and preventing another pacer from playing.

Querl played an entire season (or two?) helping Tuskers win the Logan cup with a dodgy action that got reported finally. I remember Mountaineers with Vermeulen staging protest during a match to take him off as well. Vitori playing a match is nothing compared to that. But yes, can't agree with the decision play either of them.

Our domestic-level batsmen are so poor though so dodgy action or not, if they can't handle Querl or Vitori how do they expect to survive against someone like Starc or Rabada should they make it to the national level?

I don't disagree with that. And we know the abysmal state of our batsmen from the last few seasons. But that can't be an excuse to play bowlers with dodgy actions just to give these batsmen a "challenge". Where is the bowler development headed then?brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Our domestic-level batsmen are so poor though so dodgy action or not, if they can't handle Querl or Vitori how do they expect to survive against someone like Starc or Rabada should they make it to the national level?

Sir Graeme seems to have temporarily lost control of his senses, why does he keep giving the strike to Chinouya??????? Chinouya is even worse than Chari with the bat

Another 100 for Cremer !!!!
No Nyumbu for Tuskers ? Must have been a green pitch .....
Confused why guys like Mujuru or Mupariwa get a game instead of Charles Kunje ?
Where is Waller ?
