Ya no idea who will play for the Lions teams. It's supposed to be U23 but I suspect we might see Chigumbura (their coach) play.

Meanwhile Ballance is with the Rocks and Muzarabani is apparently going to play at least a couple of matches too. I think they have Gubbins too? Plus Frost, Curran, Zhuwao, Mutumbami, Kaia. Imagine if Raza was home as well!

Despite their poor Logan Cup I think Rocks could win the T20....

If it is an u23 squad then its probably best that Chigumbura plays to keep them competitive, dont want them to get completely thrashed. Although he won't add that much value

That is a pretty strong batting lineup for the Rocks. Their bowling is relatively weak though so they would need more than a couple of games from Blessing.

Just had a look at the squad on the app for the lions and that looks okay, doubt its accurate but some decent youngsters in there that wouldn't play for other teams in this comp.

Macheka
Talent dzikiti
Marshal Takodza
B Phiri
Bright chipungu
Arnold Shara
Ali Hamid

If a couple of the senior guys play as well then they could be competitive. Phiri had a decent tournament last time.

For me always interested in how the youngsters go, especially in this format. Bennett at Mountaineers, Hamid at Eagles. See if any of the less heralded youngsters at Lions do anything.

And then the usual Wes/Marumani/Madande etc.

Ballance/Ervine/Williams should all be playing, always good to see these guys in domestic cricket - I expect they will dominate.

I wonder if Welch Jr is fit?

Dzikiti, Murombo and Dube the young bowlers might go well.

Theres a few Overseas still around which should add to the quality. They've usually all gone home by the time the T20 started in past seasons.

Am guessing T20 tournament will have multi camera live stream like they done in the T10.
In India Fancode live streaming the tournament so possibility is high.

That's good to see a full strength domestic setup involved in this. I'm a bit worried about the number of injuries these players are having and I hope a crunched schedule doesn't aggravate this injury list.

Slowly we are moving towards that day when youngsters will have to take over, and that day could be as soon as the last match of the WCQ. Although I hope it isn't till the last match of the WC. So yes, how the next gen performs is what we need to look out for.

Thanks for informing that mate, I guess I'll try to catch some action on Fancode then, provided I get enough time from work.

It's bitterly disappointing that DH, DV, SK and various others don't all step up and shout in unison- you stupid c%£ts, if you think a 4 match 4 day T20 season is adequate then you are even dumber than we thought humanly possible.
Are they remotely interested in improving our cricket or not?????

Gubbins, Welch, Parkinson and Frost all played in a T20 warm up match yesterday so looks like they will be around all week.
