I hope they don't tinker with Ervine and Gumbie opening.
They could go with Kaia.

The fear will be Gumbie opening and keeping, which obviously only matters if we field first.
Marumani is a good player. I'm not afraid of him being in the side.

I'm assuming Larry will be in the side.

And the age old question of whether they persist with Wes.

What obviously hasn't happened yet is losing early wickets and dealing with that. It's bound to happen at some point.

Also assuming we will field first if we win the toss. DH was talking like it didn't make much difference, but I think it does. Flower made an interesting point- the pitch being noticeably colder in the morning, I wonder if that's the difference?

After how Chatara ended up succeeding they will keep playing Wes. He will probably be bowling a lot more in Bulawayo as well

What a blunder having to play in Bulawayo. The harare pitches and the staggering 12th, 13th and 14th men has been a big part in our success so far.

I'm not convinced Larry's continued inclusion was a decision made by DH. Turned out well, but ...

Jongwe is in the side batting at No.7

Big call, seems like we’ve got loads of bowling options but I’m a little worried about the length of the tail.

Zimbabwe have been asked to bat first and Ervine says he is happy to do so. I'm happy with that as well. Absolutely sure it is better to bat first at Bulawayo.

Evans sits out, frustrating but expected. I would have liked to see him get one more game ahead of Chatara, but it's OK.

Kaia in ahead of Marumani which makes sense.

Jongwe at 7 makes us look light on batting . I am not comfortable with this lineup

Why is that?

Dave said in the post match press conference that Chatara is Zimbabwe’s best bowler. So unless he’s being to force to say that I’d suggest it was his call to keep him in the side.
