Why on Earth are Eagles only playing 5 recognised bats (one of them being Mutombodzi!) on a pitch that is so difficult?!

Surely 6, with Faraz being pretty much a genuine allrounder at 7?

Just quietly...

Matt Welch is actually quite an exciting prospect. Has looked head and shoulders above every other batter in this game so far.

Yet another days play lost at Takashinga after last weeks debacle .

Sorry but they should be looking to move remaining Logan Cup fixtures from there to either HSC or the provinces.

OH has a bad outfield and even they’ve managed to get play on last week and today.

The bigger question is why the Rocks chose to bat. The Eagles Pakistani bowler is easily the best of the five that have come over. Imagine that!

No I reckon Adil is.
3 tired groundsmen trying to put an old half size groundsheet on the pitch. Where's the new one that they had, I wonder??

Did they choose to bat first? That's beyond bizarre.

I don't think Welch and Kamunhukamwe have faced one good delivery yet. Rubbish bowling on a diabolical pitch.
You'd think they'd have tried early spin because the seamers have been shit and these two are playing well.

Watching this Houghton interview. They hold these pressers in the same place, terrible acoustics, can't hear a word, but nobody thinks to change the venue or close some doors or get a better mike.
It's the little things

Green as those decks in England, graze some cows on that bad boy.

Half centuries for Welch and KLong. Hope KLong gets a run in Sri Lanka, needs a good 10 games or so to make an impression.
