C'mon, Kopje...Where I have said the captaincy shouldn't be given to Raymond Price !!! He is one of my favourite player and I wish for seeing him as the skipper. I'm always backing him to be the captain. Yes, Zimbabwe should appoint the new captain from the best and for me, Price is the Zimbabwean best currently (along with some other few players as well) for his performance, aggression and commitment to the team. Worth noting that Price is currently placed 2nd/3rd in the leading ODI wicket taker list in 2009.

No mate we on the same side here, i am "agreeing" with u that we should choose from the best pool (Which is why i said i would like to see Ray as the captain). Read again, i meant UTSEYA to be removed as the skipper and replaced with Ray Price, sorry if i confused u there.

well interesting that you say that but I do agree we need thinkers of the game, cannot we get thinkers of the game assist him as a captain only enacts the tactics that are preplanned? It is a very complex situation but I would call for the investment in extensive cricket thinkers i.e educate him if necessary to be a better captain/tactician or ensure that the relationship between him and coach/analyst should be structured towards enhancing and cultivating cricket thinking and personally I think that's where we need to push for, i.e look @ Andy Flower and the technical setup and how it all integrates into Strauss's plan.
