Must be a really slow wicket.

We can’t judge yet until we see them bat.

Frynlick is a quality bowler though, the best bowler for their main side. He must be playing to add experience and to get some game time.

Need chamu and kazusa to step up here.
Not just Frylinck, it’s close to their first XI in general.

I’d say they have 5 out of their best XI, quite a few young players in there

First teamers:
Smit
Baard
Erasmus
Williams
Frynlick

Namibia have improved loads the last few seasons.

I remember when they relied on van der westhuizen who used to smash t20 hundreds for fun, he retired just as they got international status.

Loftie-Eaton would be in their first team or very close. Trumpelmann is probably their number 1 bowler at the moment.

Their entire XI today will probably be in their World Cup 16.

Awful batting performance. Thank the lord none of these guys are in Ireland haha. Chari is as bad as Maruma tbh.

We’ve got plenty of batting options ahead of these guys anyway so not that bothered. Main interest in this series is the bowling. We could do with people stepping up. Hopefully Chivanga in particular can show something.

I prefer chipungu to nyangani. He sure went for some runs today and didn't learn constantly bowling short.

Commentators were saying chibhaba was nowhere to be seen when the youngster was being taken apart in comparison to the namibia captain who was always on hand to encourage his bowlers.
Chibhaba was in the outfield going through the motions

Don’t know if this is a wind up or not but I’m biting  trumpelmann hasn’t played for the first team yet

Forgot about loftie Eaton and green to be honest. Green has been the weak link in the squad in recent times. Showed it today….

I follow Namibia cricket as I have family from there so I like to see them do well.

There were a few key names missing from the XI today:

Kotze
Birkenstock
Du preez
Ya France
Scholtz
Lungameni

I’d even throw de villiers in there, he should have played today.

Not denying most of the XI that played today will be in the world t20 squad but Namibia don’t have a massive player pool.

Going back to the result, greens innings proved there wasn’t anything wrong with the pitch.

Poor performance today from us :|

Nyangani needs some games, this is a good chance for him to show what he can do, was nervous today though and it showed.

I would love to see chipungu though I’m a big fan of his.

Chamu once again showing why he is a true captain….
