....and I'm the one accused of not paying attention to detail!

I've seen Jarvis bowl. He's the one bowler I give acute attention to, right down to the last detail - speed info for his every delivery etc. He serves up boundary balls left, right & centre! Very average. I've seen better bwolers whove shown greater potential at an even younger age - Rainsford, Olonga, Nkala, Chigs, Watambwa, Matambanadzo, Panyangara, Hondo! And they all have better ODI records than him, and I don;t see Jarvis ever doing better than most of them! Save this and get back to me at the end of 2014! NOthing will have changed! It will take remarkable performances for him to right his records, and with the opposition coming up, it does not look promising!
A couple of posts ago you said Jarvis just doesn't get wickets! Then I corrected you. In short formats 24 in 20 games. 3.5 per test. That was the sum of my comment.

No point wasting a review on Matsi, he could have nine lives and still not get to double figures.

Now Matsi. How we managed to get Matsi, Tino and Regis into our top 6 is beyond me.

Very poor from Matsi. Got himself bogged down! Shouldn't have opened in any innings! Had Taylor opened, we should have at least 30runs for no wicket!

He shouldn't have batted in any innings. He should be a non-batting substitute or something.

Anyone watching this. I know its a big score and what not, but is this how much belief the players have in themselves that they feel they need to play like its a test. The only reason Mawoyo ran himself out was because he was desperate to get runs and took a needless run.

We are showing the bowlers too much respect and not playing any shots. New Zealand have set a test field, have about 4 slips and yet we still refuse to play our shots.

The only a batsman can get his confidence is by playing shots and the longer we decide to block and keep telling ourselves that this is just about getting some batting practice, the longer we suffer. Half you battle is mental, and right now our players are smashing themselves way too much mentally.

Matsi has been even more of a dissapointment than I expected. I was thinking he'd fail twice and get one start.
