Give Dave the DoC role with some actual power to implement changes and find a fresh set of coaches from somewhere.
I can’t see Ervine or Williams continuing. Larry obviously shouldn’t play again. Others need a spell on the sidelines and a kick up the arse.
The problem is the replacement players will not be hugely better so don’t get your hopes up. It’s easy tk say change the selections but we just don’t have many, if any, better players. It’s a fact that people need to accept.
It’s a long long long way back from here to the top table.

Houghton is actually a victim here like the rest of us.

Agree largely Taps but he will have signed off on Welly at 6 which was lunacy.

Uk the writing was on the wall when the ugandans and Nigerians were comfortably getting the better of takashinga and the rhinos.

Oh for sure, to an extent. And obviously he needs to be kept in the system.
But for the last few weeks we have played exactly the same as the team that Rajput coached. No confidence, no identity. Bizarre batting orders. Poor fielding. Seemingly poor fitness.
The sort of stuff that the coach controls and that weren’t present 12 months ago.
Everyone has to take some responsibility and part of the blame. No one gets off Scot free here, including Dave tbh.

This all started from the preps. I was shocked at how relaxed and in their environment it was. Knowing fully well that these guys crumble.
I don't know man. This is the lowest point. It's got nothing to do with ability. It's all in the mind. Very bizarre decisions
If Welch can field why didn't he play over Marumani?
Did Raza get his plan confused with the bowling changes?
Why did Welly bat at 6 and Wes at 8?
Why did Raza bowl Larry out over Wellington for example?
Very very strange day. They only have themselves to blame

He knew what he was signing up for when he got the gig. He knew he had to play the ZC game and all the hamstringing that comes with it and was happy to take the dollar on offer. He’s failed in two qualifiers we shouldn’t even be at and as head coach the buck stops with him.
Truth be told Raz Dawg got him off to a flier last year and they rode that momentum a good while. The wheels started coming off at the t20 World Cup after that Pakistan game. Couple of games we should have won and secured a top 8 finish there to avoid these qualifiers but it didn’t happen.
