There's hardly an article on Cricinfo that he hasn't commented on. He's ZC's own Jason Moyo spin doctor. It makes me feel very uncomfortable when he puts such a different slant on the same information I process differently. Clearly quite a few people (especially within ZC) think like him so it is worth reading what he has to say so one keeps a finger on the pulse, so to speak. He certainly has little time for any white folk so if he's within ZC (and I'm certain he is) it's depressing, especially if you're white! Money will keep dripping in from the World Cups, the ICC and the few games that generate cash and ZC can limp along indefinitely from what I can see. I used to think we were close to collapse but I no longer think so. Not that I want it to collapse, I obviously want things to improve but I just don't see that happening. It would be great to know what ICC think of our cricket and what plans they have for us, if any?
Are we still any use to the BCCI after the ICC restructuring exercise? Perhaps crisis time will be when our top batters retire or move on to greener pastures and there's no-one to replace them because there are no real quality guys coming through the ranks. I think our first casualty will be BT, which according to our man won't be a huge loss. I don't see him staying on beyond the WC unless they really sweeten the deal for him. I think under the circumstances Hammy would be a better choice as captain. Vusi and Hammy will be there to turn off the lights, and I'm not sure what SW's plans are. I think Razza is going to keep on improving and will probably stay as well, they look to have family money and he just enjoys his cricket and is somehow exempt from all the politics. I guess we just watch it roll out and keep whining... at some point I have to walk away from all of this as it's depressing.

Taylor is what 28 now? Lets hope he stays on at least till he's 35. ZIM will need him to bat till 40 ideally. He's stayed through worse than this, so one would hope he will stick it out. Hopefully if ZC pays up with the current contracts, it will entice guys like Jarvis, Cremer, and Ervine Jr to come back. Jarvis is at the end of his 2nd year on a 3 year deal, and its unlikely Lancs will pay a 25 yo to be on the 2nd team.Googly wrote: I think our first casualty will be BT, which according to our man won't be a huge loss.

Taylor has been through worse- but his dynamics have changed, he's now a father
His loyalty lies with his family first and putting bread on the table.
