Chatara did exceptionally well, I agree. I had a feeling before the game that he will do well, as fans we criticise selections but I'm so happy to ve proven wrong.
At 6 wickets down in the Zim innings, I thought it's another one of those 9 wicket loss... Team showed great character.
One thing I didn't like was Raza underutilizing Bennett as a bowler, why would you not give him more overs when the lad has figures of 1-1-0-1??? I understand others were bowling well but Still!
I'm still of the opinion that Wellington can make way for an extra batter, nothing against him, he is bowling well, but do we need so many bowlers? I don't think so. There are proper spin all rounders in the side and there is no need of a regular spinner in T20s.
Also need to see what difference Naqvi makes to the side when he comes in, as of now you'd think he takes Kaia's place with Bennett opening.. But alternatively can they just try Naqvi as an opener? What's the harm? Zimbabwe are struggling to get a decent opening pair, and Wes and Naqvi could just provide that.
What an awesome result, Zimbabwe are the best in the world! In all seriousness, this match shows that our best chance of victory lies in a bowler-friendly wicket. We would never beat India in a 200+ score shootout.

Ya when Bennett didn’t get the 3rd over I was already shaking my head, but it surely turned out well.
Washington Sundar kept turning down singles a little prematurely I thought.
We had no plan against their spin, they also bowled very well. I’m not sure the pitch was as bad as all the batters made out. I wonder what deck we will play on today. I’d use the same one and risk Indian outrage
The usual Zim Indians supporting India gets my goat big time. As I always maintain- perfect opportunity for a repatriation exercise after collecting unpaid taxes!
No reason not to see Naqvi today. That was one of those lucky wins. We need batsmen!
Dion Myers has a very interesting batting technique - getting down on the front foot.
Those pull shots he played, looked a bit awkward.
In what little I saw during the first innings, Myers was the only one who played Bishnoi well. Zimbabwe need to do their homework on Bishnoi, if they play him well, at least don't give wickets to him then Zimbabwe have a good chance of pulling off another win. Bishnoi ia a good bowler.
A couple of wins against India will also make other tours easy for Zimbabwe, like some of the other top teams would consider scheduling fixtures against Zim. My family and friends have noticed this win and are kind of a bit surprised. I'm sure it's the case with many others and it is being talked about. It's a huge opportunity for Zim to make people take notice. They have already taken a big step towards it.
100%
Sometimes he sets himself himself up very low and other times he stands taller. He definitely plays seam better than spin, where he really does crouch making straight shots more difficult, and then goes very hard at sweep shots, doesn’t look too comfortable. But his shot selection is pretty good and he has a game plan.
