Unpopular opinion but maru's low strike rate was one of the many reasons to lose the game today. You can't be playing at 115 strike rate after playing 44 balls.

Watched his innings. Minus that 6 and the punch for 4 down the ground, all of the other four boundaries were edges down to third man.

I'd hazard a guess that Marumani probably has the lowest "control percentage" of any batter, including number 11s from the time that statistic has been around. He's probably at like 20% of his balls faced ending in a controlled manner or leave.
