I remember the Yassmin Abdel-Magied story, it actually backs up my point. It had nowhere near the same level of media coverage that Israel Folau has received, and the ABC didn't take any action against her because of the comments she made.
It had quite a lot of media coverage. She was given death threats (hence why she had to leave the country) and labelled a whole bunch of derogatory terms. She come out and apologised (hence why ABC did not take action publicly) and was still the subject of verbal and written abuse.
I'm not a fan of hers, but the facts speak for themselves.

Besides, who the fuck is she ? She’s no one. Whinging Random journalist hating Australia constantly with literally no credentials as a journalist and n track record of anything.
Thanks for proving my point though.
She did not only mention Palestine in her post btw, so why only focusing on that. A muslim 5000 miles away can say something and suddenly all Muslims are evil infidel hating sharia law advocating terrorists. I mean, 50 people got massacred and a lot of the focus moved to a debate on muslim migration.
The thing with Folaus comments are that he is openly speaking about a massive community as he did not just speak about gay people. He is dictating to them about their lives and condemning people to hell. Regardless of what you may think of others and their choices in life (I want to be clear, I am not saying being gay is a choice, but his post spoke about a lot of things) you do not have a right to speak ill of others in such ways. He has not apologised for his comments instead continued on the attack.
