Can you imagine this approach against SA/ Aus and getting away with it? This looks like desperation more than plan, really. And even if it is a plan, it only seem to be working against the Afghans. We need our bowlers in form, and our skipper to be on top of his thinking abilities. As long as that is there, and we whitewash the Afghans, I won't be complainingjaybro wrote:Everyone has been a bit harsh on BRMT's bowling changes here but maybe his constant swapping of the spinners hasn't let the Afghanis get their eyes in, the run rate has slowed a lot plus now he also has plenty of bowling options. He can pretty much bowl who ever he likes now because they all have overs up their sleeves …..

It's the same online scorer, and a Zimbo obviously, who has scored the previous matches. It's really great that he adds a bit more colour to the picture today.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Special shout out to the Cricinfo commentary too, it's more passionate than a typical ODI. There's some nice editorial license in there
And Red strikes!

Need another couple....
Nabi has shown he can hit the long ball and I'd really like to see the back of him.

I guess there's absolutely nothing in it for the seamers in the second innings.
BT has made some great changes today, or he has been frightfully lucky.

If Zimbabwe pull this off then I'm definitely going to eat my words. Like CrimsonAvenger, on paper I think a lot of these bowling changes seem really unusual and risky. But if it works, then they've all been inspired choices...foreignfield wrote:I guess there's absolutely nothing in it for the seamers in the second innings.
