You are pretty good with your stats and milestones! And this is indeed a commendable achievement for a Zimbabwean. One of the safer hands.Jemisi wrote:100 catches in internationals for Hami there. 6th Zimbabwean past the mark. 3rd non-keeper to get there.

Good to see the Mid West Rhinos, my team, submitting to the forum. I just want to ask you guys if you are considering picking up some of our recent U19 World Cup Players such as Murray and Ngarava. It would be great to see some of these talented youngsters playing for the team

Good point, there is no contemporary of pace.ZIMDOGGY wrote:Anyone can point out what we don't have, but point out A solid solution, that's the trick.zimlover wrote:None of bolwers are even capable of bolwing a short ball to threaten them, we need a new breed of ggresive bolwers
There's no way aliseni is that quick, BUT, it seems clear he is at least the fastest. He should be invested in hardcore as he has some more raw metals in him it seems. That's one from me.
Richard Ngarava with his left arm pace looked good in the U/19 WC. He is someone who definitely should have been called up from Eng & should have been handed FC debut in the A games to see how he goes.totoro wrote:Ngarava, Matigmu & Mashinge are all over 130 speeds.zimlover wrote:I think the way forawrd is to introduce fast bolwing clinics in the local low level districts may be a similar initiative to what Heath streak did a few years ago inviting and advertising,
Can you bowl 130k plus?
Are you at least 19 years old?
Are you willing to serve you country ?
If you answered yes then you need to come and speak to our coaching staff
They should remove all the discrimination around picking players at low level and engage any one who can bowl 130 plus
It's good to see WI calling up & investing on the former U/19 quick Alzarri Joseph.

The speed gun in this match puts the supposed speeds from the training camp into perspective: Tiripano was reported to be 130-135 kph IIRC, when in reality in a match situation he's bowling 122-128 kph. Chinouya is struggling to hit 120 kph, which is embarrasing for an opening bowler at Test level. Even if we allow for the difference in conditions between Harare and Bulawayo, we can probably substract 5 kph from those numbers. It would still mean Aliseni is bowling high 130s.
