Agree. A very team-first approach to the innings; which is the way Waller always plays to be fair. It's never done his average any favours having to come out and slog for a few overs at the end of the innings. But this 99 not out helps his average a bit!andybligz93 wrote:he showed where his heart is , he did the mature thing dabing for a single and sacrificed his hundread. i said we would win today but for us to chase that down is simply amazing , see what we are capable of. we all say it but for us to do it look at the views in the changerooms! well done taylor for the series lead by the front and the emergence and maturity of waller could be a huge find.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Wonderful chase! What an incredible win. Huge, huge victory.
Spare a thought for Waller thoug... 99 not out.

Finally we break the drought against NZ. I remember being up late when Streak smacked us to our last win against them.

The fight between him and Mutizwa just heated up a bit....

Yeah, it's a pretty tight battle. I reckon Waller would have the honours at the moment but Mutizwa's knock in the 1st ODI was very good.ZIMDOGGY wrote:The fight between him and Mutizwa just heated up a bit....

I wouldn't like to be Craig Ervine right now. His Test spot is under about a hundred times more pressure than it was this time last week.
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v NewZealand (3rd ODI)
Yeah, Mutizwa, Ervine and Waller all fighting for one spot.

What a knock and what a player! His hands are RAPID!
Very very very mature innings, bodes well for the future.
Decent knock from Chigumbura too. Sparks of the past there. Horrid shot from himself and Meth though

I somehow had this intuition that this is going to be Waller's dayDr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:Nicol to Waller, SIXDr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:The 5 powerplays and Waller in particular will decide where this chase goes![]()

Fancy being stuck in a meeting...what a knock from Waller..and Taylpr setting it all up and Taibu contribution essential and I see why Chigs would be a better bet than Pro just glad it came off. Wonder where this leaves hhm's theory which I supported..on having a more experienced heads whilst the youth matures in FC...the bowling screams for it...but with resolve from "green" players like Waller...for now Im pleasantly blown away...finally Taylor has sonething to smile about...I really think we can draw the test..
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu
