Chepas Zhuwao has to be in the T20 team, I won't even mind him in the 50 over qualifier squad either. Why can't he open ahead of Marumani or Chibhabha, surely.

Marumani's time will come, but presently I don't see any harm in picking Zhuwao.

We would have the oldest top six in the world. No thanks!

I switched on other day for 5 minutes and saw Zuwhayo twat Victoe Nyauchi through the cover for a one bounce four. It got half a metre off the ground. Unreal shot. He's in for me

Ages of our proposed top six at the Africa qualifier (October 1st 2023)

1. Kaia - 31y 52d
2. Zhuwao - 38y 290d
3. Ervine - 38y 43d
4. Williams - 37y 5d
5. Ballance - 33y 313d
6. Raza - 37y 160d

Completely and totally unsustainable. Madness to include Zhuwao at this point, utter madness. He will be pushing 40 by the time the actual T20 world cup starts.

We have an awesome opportunity whereby our next major T20 event is a regional qualifier playing lower ranked opposition including the likes of Nigeria and Tanzania. Surely you pick all the young guys. Surely?

That would be true if the youngsters were uprooting trees but as it stands zhuwayo is blazing a trail.
We have to pick on form and he is in irresistable touch at the moment.

It would be an even more maddening decision than recalling Chibhabha. And that nearly made me want to jump off a tall building

No nepotism with zhuwayo though 😅😅.
Zhuwayo has never got his dues or a prolonged run in side

I don't understand why Zhuwao is a big risk for the qualifiers let the man play , he has been a great servant for the game...Players like shumba, Marumani etc. have failed to produce and they still have time on they hands..

As SC mentioned this top 6 is too old, as much as Zhuwao deserves his chance, he shouldn't be returning to the national team at nearly 39.

I think Madhevere needs to take that opening spot or craig.
