163 for 5.

Positives:
Great start
Avoided the Zimbabwe Collapse
Decent rotation in the middle

Negatives:
Failed to capitalise towards the end, until the last over
Lost regular wickets
Ireland can chase this

I'm slightly pessimistic here, especially with the bowling we have.

We need Chatara to get us wickets with the new ball.

Yes a little under par here but at least we are in the game, now we need to fight!

BRMT just said he was surprised how much it turned probably why Chatara played instead of Mushangwe …..

Big job for Pro, Kumungozi & Williams …..

Maruma may also bowl but i feel Waller's spinners could have been effective here as well ….

Taylor admitting they misread the pitch. They should have asked Jonty Rhodes. :(

Yeah agreed. Very well batted by Chigumbura and even Maruma there at the end. Gave us a crucial extra 10 or 15 than looked likely when Taylor got out.

Competitive score for Zim. Taylor thinks 20 short. Ire has cut definitely some runs picking up Taylor in the 16th.

Spinners are significant for Zim. Utseya, Kamungozi, Maruma, Williams. Open with a spinner Utseya ?

Panayangara & Chatara will be expected to pick wickets in the powerplay. If they go for runs then Zim will need to use spin for the bulk of their overs.

& yeah, from next match Chigumbura needs to come before Sibanda irrespective of the situation. Hope Maruma can continue to hit a few in the death overs in the future matches.

If you look at the scorecard, a strike rate 88 is simply not good enough. I've said it before and I say it again (until proven otherwise), Vusi is not a T20 player.

I also agree. I would have had Mark Vermeulen in the squad.
